Be the first to move all four of your pawns from your base to your home.
1. Roll the die to determine who starts — highest roll goes first and chooses their colour. The opponent must choose the colour diagonally opposite.
2. Place your three pawns in your corresponding base and one pawn at the starting point.
3. The game begins when the timer starts for the first player.
Starting the Game
Roll a 6 to move a pawn from the base onto the starting point, players take turns rolling the die and moving their pawns.
Capturing Opponents
Landing on an opponent's pawn sends it back to its base and grants you an additional roll.
Safe Zones
Pawns on safe zones (star squares) cannot be captured.
Entering the Finishing Line
Complete a full loop to enter the finishing line, roll the exact number to enter the home space. This grants you an extra roll.
Special Rules
- If you have no valid moves, your turn is skipped.
- Rolling a 6 three times consecutively forfeits the last 6 and ends your turn. This rule is reset if you capture an opponents pawn or reach home.
- You can stack two or more pawn of the same colour on one space, making it a safe zone. Opponents can also use this safe zone by landing on it. The space loses its safe zone status if only one pawn remains.
Timer: Each player has an allocated time of 7.5 minutes, if the timer finishes before they win the game, they automatically lose. The timer can only be paused when calling for a judge.
Starting out: Both players start the game with one pawn out.
Three 6s: Rolling three consecutive 6s forfeits the last 6 and ends your turn. This rule is reset if you capture an opponent's pawn or reach home.
Base: Where you hold your pawns.
Starting Point: The first coloured square adjacent to your base.
Safe Zone: The star spaces, as well as each Starting Point are spaces in which your pawn cannot be captured. The coloured arrows are not Safe Zones.
Finishing Line: These are the coloured spaces that lead to home.
Home: The end square in the middle of the board.
